Oct 20 – Supply Chain Disaster Simulation and Networking

Have you ever wondered what all the hype around “resilient supply chains” truly means? If so, you aren’t alone. At the CSCMP Dallas Roundtable meeting, we’re giving you the chance to try your hand at building a resilient supply chain without any (negative) effects to your business or community.

During the event, you’ll play through a crisis scenario and experience all of the challenges that go along with it. We’ll learn about the ways you can and should work with other businesses and community groups during a crisis, and talk about why sometimes our perceptions about other sectors hinder our ability to mount an effective collaborative response. We’ll also discuss some easy yet powerful ways you can get your business on the road to increased resilience.

The game uses a combination of technology and live action game play. No experience is necessary to participate, but you’ll want to bring your smart phone or tablet computer to join in.

Registration and check-in at 5:30pm

Simulation begins 6:00 pm
