2017 EDGE Sponsorship Winners

Congratulations to the students attending CSCMP EDGE Supply Chain Conference 

 

Mazen Brho – UNT

Mr. Brho is a Ph.D. Student in Logistic and Supply Chain Management with a minor in Finance at the University of North Texas (UNT). Mr. Brho has received a master degree in Finance from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration. He is currently an instructor of senior level courses at UNT and working on several research papers in the Supply Chain Finance domain. Some of his research focuses are inventory control, operation management, liquidity and working capital, collaboration (cofinancing/cooperating), and risk management. Mr. Brho has a considerable industry experience in the supply chain, finance, transportation, and financial consulting.

 

Daniel Cremer – UNT
Daniel Cremer will graduate in December 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He is a transfer student to the University of North Texas and received his Associates degree prior to attending the University of North Texas where he is currently a student. Dan has experience in Logistics as a hotshot driver and as a Navy Seabee Veteran. Currently he is an active student officer for the Logistics Student Association(LogSA) and a student member of multiple logistics associations. While attending UNT Dan has learned the theory behind the practices that he has seen in his logistics experience. He looks forward to bringing his knowledge and experience to the logistics and supply chain management profession.

Silvia Jimenez – UTD

Silvia Jimenez moved to Dallas from Barranquilla, Colombia. She will graduate in the spring of 2018 with a Master’s of Science in Systems Engineering and Management with concentration in Supply Chain from the University of Texas at Dallas. Currently, Silvia teaches Math in a public high school. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and traveling. In the near future, she is determined to pursue a career as a supply chain professional.

 

 

Joaquin Tapia – University of Dallas

Joaquin Tapia earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas and is looking to graduate in the Fall of 2017 with a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. Joaquin is currently employed as a Senior Service Manager at Ryder Transportation Services. During Joaquin’s tenure as a manager, the results of his efforts have been recognized through increased operating revenue, additional customers, increased profitability, and improved customer satisfaction. Joaquin hopes to continue working towards his goal of becoming an executive officer one day after graduate school.
