For more than 25 years, local CSCMP roundtables have sponsored college students to attend the annual conference as part of the extended conference staff. Though not a requirement, most sponsored students tend to be studying in the field of logistics and supply chain management. During the conference, sponsored students spend 50% of their time working with the executive office staff in conference activities and the other 50% of their time attending sessions of their choice, networking with attendees, setting up job opportunity appointments, and experiencing the conference as a fully paid registrant.
The Dallas/Fort Worth CSCMP Roundtable invites students at area universities to apply for this excellent opportunity. The sponsored student will benefit from numerous networking opportunities with industry professionals, prospective employers, university faculty, and CSCMP staff. In addition, student attendees will learn about cutting edge initiatives that companies are pursuing in areas of logistics and supply chain management.
